Farewell, America!

Well, the day has finally arrived.  Meadows and I are out of here!  It feels like a long-awaited horse race, and the announcer has just screamed “And they’re off!”  …but not without a few tearful goodbyes along the way.

Before I get into life on the road (err… the sky?), it’s important to look back on how we got here!  This post is dedicated to all our family and friends who made leaving so hard, but so memorable.  Thanks EVERYONE who…

• Came to our going away party!  Charlie, don’t kill me 🙂

• Kept Great American Cookie in business – so many cookie cakes! YUMM 🙂

• Helped us move (oh gosh, this was not fun OR easy! Special shout-out to my mom for helping us get it done).

• Planned the best New Years Eve trip to Austin! Golden Girls and husbands, we love y’all (so much)!

• Made a farewell video (seriously, my coworkers are awesome! But it’s not blog-appropriate… HA!).
• Went to dinner with us during our final week (plus the Bachelor premiere!!).
• Took us to the airport (big shout-out to Meadows’ mom for helping us get our act together so we could get on a plane) – a sad, but necessary job!

We cannot thank you enough! And we’ll hopefully see all of you in 6 weeks 😉
